The Jeep Wrangler (JL) is finally coming to show its face at the 2017 Los Angeles auto show this year. But we are very lucky to have received its secret spec before we actually see it later this year!
The leaked information source comes from the JL Wrangler Forums, which discovered some new features that are coming. It was discovered that the latest version of the Jeep Wrangler will have a full-time four-wheel drive. This is a first. The Wrangler Forum was mainly banging on about how the Jeep Wrangler will open up its power.
Rumour has it, the JL four-wheel drive system could actually look back to Jeep's "Selec-Trac" system despite the fact that everyone thought that was gone since 2012.

The new Wrangler will come with a spoilt choice of engines. The following choices will be:
1. 2.0-liter turbocharged inline-4 cylinder
2. 3.6-liter V-6 engine
The third engine choice: 3.0liter turbodiesel V-6 engine is thought to be available shortly afterwards, potentially in 2019.
The following transmissions will be available for the 2018 Wrangler:
1. 8-speed automatic
2. 6-speed manual

Exclusive information was also leaked about the customization packages available for the JL Wrangler. Apparently, all you Jeep lovers will have a spoilt choice of 13 different versions.
There are 10 difference customization packages for the 2018 Wrangler. The package is thought to include LED lighting package upgrades to little onboard technology gizmos. A brand spanking new "Trail Rail Management System" is coming too! Although we don't know exactly what that requires yet.

Leaked information also suggests that the brand new Jeep will come stock with a power soft-top roof but additionally, the traditional soft top and three-piece hard-top will also be available.
